How does audience attraction work?

I had so many friends in university that would get all dolled up for the bar because they wanted a nice boy to see them, buy them a drink, and live happily ever after.
But... so often the cute buy across the bar wouldn't spot them, wouldn't come over, and wouldn't sweep them off their feet 😥
When I knew I was ready for a relationship, I knew I had to take action.
It's not enough to just get dolled up and look "attractive".

"Audience attraction" gives the impression that your audience will find YOU.
You’re putting all your eggs in the basket of people you can’t control 😬
Yes, you can do things so that your content is more attractive to them…. But what are you doing to help them find you?
It's just like dating. YES wear that red dress that makes you look stunning, but ALSO be confident enough in yourself to go up to the person at the bar and ask for their number.
➡️ Stop waiting for other people to take action.
YOU have to find your audience for your business. Don’t rely on them to do all the work in finding you. If you want the results, you have to claim them.
How can you help your audience find YOU?
Use ads to target your ideal audience (my recommended approach)
Get really clear on who you want to target (specifically your cold audience)
Position your offer in an irresistible way
Constantly optimize your ads so they drive the results you're looking for

Use SEO
Start a blog!!
Google what common questions people are asking about your expertise and write about it
Upload all your old newsletters to your website so that you can begin ranking for that content
Use Pinterest to share your blog posts and old newsletters with a CTA to sign up for your email list
Use Tailwind to connect with others on Pinterest and schedule all your content

Pitch to Podcasts
This is probably the most effective way to grow next to ads
Draft a pitch for podcasts - there are TONS of ways to do this
Keep it simple and reach out to a few of your fave podcasts in DMs - I've landed 100% of the podcasts I've DM'd on IG vs emailed 🔥
Don't just copy and paste your pitch, make it personal!
Start Conversations
NO I do not mean Cold DM people to work with you
DM people on Instagram (or your preferred platform) and tell them how they've impacted you, respond to their IG story
Show genuine interest - people can tell real quick when you're just DMing to make a sale
Respond back to email newsletters that resonated with you
ALL of these methods lie within your control.
Don't wait for your audience to find you, go out and find them yourself.
