The online coaches are lying.

I'm tired today.

Instagram is a bit of a trap, but we all knew that already.

I've started to grow tired of coaches marketing themselves as 6-figure/7-figure entrepreneurs.

I'm tired of entrepreneurs saying they're working to retire their spouses.

I'm tired of entrepreneurs romanticizing their lives to others as if what they have is perfect.

It's all such a facade.

Money doesn't equate to happiness.

Working remotely doesn't equate to happiness.

Success doesn't equate to happiness.

Happiness IS success. But even then, it'll come and go. Nothing is as consistent as your favourite entrepreneur's Instagram feed.

So, on the note of going against the current marketing grain, here are some fun facts about me:

- I'm not "well-travelled"

- I'm supporting my fiance as he finishes getting his engineering degree + after that we will be a 2 income household

- I've been too tired to post on Instagram lately and I'm not worried about it

- I'll probably never share how much money I make online

- I don't have a perfect life and I don't want people to think I do.

So here is a reminder, you're doing fine. It's not always going to be perfect. It's ok to show imperfection. You're ok.

I'm cheering you on. Be kind to yourself.

Follow me on Instagram while I attempt to go against the grain… anti-consistency, pro-investing, and pro-raising people up instead of tearing them down.
