Some things you may not have known about me:

😰 I thought I was done doing presentations when I finished university
😳 I have crippling stagefright
🙃 I'm an introvert... like an EXTREME introvert

None of this has negatively affected my business. Even as an introvert, I love talking to people and having rich conversations. BUT that was before I decided to host a fricken live masterclass a few weeks ago.

Let me walk you through it...

Before the masterclass:

• Panicking about everything that could possibly go wrong

• Thinking through "what ifs" for every possible negative situations

• Didn't once think about what could go well

• Had a big stomach ache (but that's nothing new lol)

During the masterclass:

• Shocked at how many people showed up

• Managed to navigate through some minor tech trouble

• My audience engaged with me

• People were excited to learn from me

• I wasn't nervous

➡️ Why wasn't I nervous? Because, unlike school presentations where I had to memorize my lines, I actually knew and enjoyed what I was talking about. 

I was lit up by what I was talking about. There was no forgetting what I was saying because I spoke from my knowledge. I've never felt so empowered presenting to people 🥰

After the masterclass:

• Sat at my desk in shock that I actually did it and felt good about it

• Scheduled calls for joining my new program

• Uploaded the masterclass replay to my website

• Began brainstorming about new live masterclass ideas

• And, of course, I CELEBRATED.

Here's what I learned from my masterclass experience:

1. 🤗 People want to cheer you on & see you succeed. You are the only one that is analyzing everything you do.

2. ✨ It only takes 1 sign-up to make it all feel worth it. It just takes that little sparkle of support to completely change the game.

3. 🙅🏽‍♀️ It doesn’t have to be complicated if you don’t make it complicated. If you're going to analyze the "what ifs" then you HAVE to imagine the positive side as well.

4. 💜 Leaning on mentors for support will change everything. I had supportive conversations with 3 different mentors that reassured me and supported it.

5. 🥰 The connection that comes with showing up live is unmatched. People are there to learn and support you. Is there a better feeling?

6. 💸 Ads work. I got a 2X ROAS. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you will grow your email list like crazy with a free offer like a masterclass, and you WILL get sales.
