I thought I'd have good news to share today, but it looks a little different
I have a personal update.
I began writing this email, slamming away at the keyboard, thinking, "poor me." Then I realized something... Before I get into that, I'll first give you my update:
Keanan (my fiancé) and I placed an offer on our dream home yesterday.
And we didn't get it.
We're 0/4 offers placed in the last year. The real estate market is absolutely messed.
I can (and I did) throw myself a pity party, but I don't want to do that now.
Why?
I realized how fricken resilient I am.
I woke up this morning so determined to find a different, better house. I'm not saying that we need to jump into things right away, but I felt resilience instead of self-pity. I bounced back.
So today, I'm celebrating a win. I'm celebrating my resilience.
Even when things don't go my way, I can take the power back.
--
Whether it's a house, a relationship, a business launch, ad campaign, or something else that didn't go our way, we CAN bounce back.
When I help my clients set up a new ad campaign, I always tell them, "sometimes it takes a bit of time & testing for your cost per result to even out."
Basically, it takes time and strategic optimization to get the full result that we're looking for.
As Ross from Friends would say, "PIVOT!!!"
I can apply that to our house search as well. I'm optimizing my approach to finding a new home by adjusting my mindset.
--
So, let's adopt that new mindset.
The mindset of "I can handle whatever is thrown at me."
Because we can.
I understand that it might feel hard to adopt this mindset with everything going on in the world. I don't want to belittle everything happening, but I also want to stress the importance of leaning into our power even when things are hard or out of our control. Our power rests in how we react to situations. Your power is waiting for you whenever you want to use it. I see you. I support you. You are resilient, even when you don't feel like you are 💜

I really wanted to share something personal with you. It feels like it's been a while since I did. The last thing I want to do is give the illusion that my entrepreneurial life and personal life are perfect. Just like everyone else, they're very messy at times.
But coming back & optimizing is the important part 😉
I'm not giving up on our house hunt. So don't give up on your next goal either, whether it's advertising-related or not, you can optimize and keep moving forward.

On another note...
I've been working really hard the past month to create more things of value for you. I'll be releasing something very soon to help you gauge whether you're ready to run ads ✨
