Learn my goal setting process that drives ACTION + RESULTS
This quarter I actually set goals in a way that made me want to achieve them.
I've been setting quarterly goals since I started my business. I'd put them on a piece of paper, then never look at the paper again. I thought I was "manifesting" it. Turns out, I was just forgetting my goals because I wasn't taking my business in a clear direction.
SO, how am I setting goals now that I'm able to *actually* achieve?
1. 📈 I made them measurable.
From beginning to end, each task, all of it is measurable. You can't achieve what you can't measure. Literally, how do you know if you're ever done a task if you don't measure it?
Example: I'm going to grow my email list 200% this quarter. I'll achieve this by running a Facebook Ad campaign with a $10 per day budget over at least 3 months.
2. 🕰 I include a time frame.
You'll see in the example above that I included this. If you set a goal with no time frame, you can and likely will procrastinate it. Adding a time frame keeps you accountable.
3. ✨ My goal is always driven by my "why".
Basically, I ask myself, "why am I trying to achieve this goal?" This will help you filter out vanity goals from real juicy purposeful goals. If you're unclear on the reason why you want to achieve a goal, then it's time to dive deeper into your business vision. Will this goal get you there?
Example: I want to grow my email list because it will connect me with more people that can benefit from my products and services.
