Don't let fear into the driving seat of your biz 🚘
The last time I emailed you, I asked, “what stress-inducing belief is keeping you from growing?”
For me, I let the fear of ‘making enough money’ drive the wheel of my business. Just imagine an endless circle that I was running in. Fear is not motivating, it’s crippling.
I ask if you have a stress-inducing belief because I see it all the time. People are afraid to invest in themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I have 100% been there too. I would wear a badge of honour thinking, “I need nothing from other people. If I don’t know how to do it, I will learn. If I’m bad at it, then I’ll practice. I refuse to ask for help or spend a dime on speeding this process up.” Sounds logical right..?
I think there’s power in knowing how to do it all yourself, but it can sometimes limit your growth. If you try to be good at everything, then what are you excellent at? Do you even have time left to be excellent?
Investing in yourself can be anything from taking a course, joining an online community, paying for a website subscription, or… you probably saw this coming… ✨ advertising ✨.
People don’t invest in themselves because they’re afraid they won’t see a return on investment. They let FEAR motivate them. Fear is like that one relative that keeps saying, “so when are you going to find a real job? Do you have a boyfriend yet? Are you sure you’re happy?” You KNOW that relative needs to shut up, it’s time to tell fear to do the same.
You can spend $40/month on a community membership & probably meet a lot of really cool people, and possibly clients.
You can spend $300/year on your website subscription & it can act as a valuable resource for your potential clients.
You can spend $50 on one Facebook & Instagram Advertising campaign & get anywhere from 10-50 leads (or more, who knows 😉).
